Las Vegas Enforcers Brand Identity Creation: Master’s Thesis
My master's thesis project focused on creating a brand identity for the Las Vegas Enforcers, a fictitious ECHL team. The project included developing a brand voice and tone that would resonate with the team's target audience while also differentiating them from other teams in the league. The process began with extensive research on the history of hockey, the city of Las Vegas, and the competitive landscape of the sports industry. Based on this research, I developed a brand strategy and visual identity, including a new logo, color scheme, typography, and messaging. The logo was designed to be modern, bold, and dynamic, reflecting the team's strength and inclusion of their fanbase.
I created a comprehensive brand guidelines booklet that outlined the rules and standards for using the new branding elements across various media channels, including social media, advertising, and merchandise. To showcase the new brand identity, I created a series of media assets, such as promotional merchandise, social media graphics, jerseys, billboards, and more. These assets were designed to engage and excite fans while also communicating the team's values and identity.
